The detailed article information module is designed to extend the functionality of the ERP system by registering article properties that are not available in the basic SAP system. The module allows flexible management and extension of the properties assigned to articles, as well as easy updating and retrieval of data.
Main functions:
1. Dynamic property management and extension
The module provides the possibility to add and group article properties as required. Properties can be freely defined and extended in the detailed information interface of the articles, allowing the system to be customised according to individual business needs. Each property can be assigned unique codes, tags and data, which are displayed in groups to ensure transparency.
2. Integration with SAP Business One
The addon is fully integrated with SAP B1, so that the values for the items are automatically updated from SAP and changes are rolled back. This ensures data consistency and synchronisation, minimising manual data management.
3. Customizable properties management
Properties can be assigned various fields, which can be numeric, alphanumeric, date or file type. Each property has unique display and handling rules, for example, you can specify the width and height of the field, make it mandatory, or set validity rules. You can easily maintain and organise the values associated with the properties.
4. Search and filter functions
The module offers advanced search and filtering functions that allow you to search for articles quickly and accurately based on the article properties you specify. You can specify multiple properties for the search and combine filtering criteria with an 'or' condition. The search results are displayed dynamically, so that articles matching the filter criteria and their properties are immediately visible.
5. Bulk data management with Excel
The system supports bulk import and export of data in Excel format. Properties for articles in an Excel file can be imported into the system with a single click, greatly facilitating data upload and maintenance. In addition, articles and their properties can be easily exported to Excel with the appropriate formatting.
6. Managing attachments
The module provides the possibility to attach various attachments such as images, PDFs, Word documents and other files. These files can be associated with an item or a specific property. In addition to uploading files, the module can preview and view files, so that important documents can be managed directly in the system.
7. Advanced property group management
Properties can be organized into groups, which are displayed in separate tabs in the detailed information interface of the article. The visibility of these groups can be controlled by the visibility rules attached to the properties, so that only those groups that are relevant when a particular condition is met are displayed.
